Tourism Development Program

The program aims to increase Uganda’s attractiveness as a preferred tourist destination. Expected results include increasing tourism arrivals, revenues and employment in the value chain of the tourism sector. Over this period, the SWRDF will undertake one project.

Projects highlighted

1. Support to the tourism sub-sector (health tourism, ecotourism, cultural and agro-tourism, local culinary journeys and food treats)
2. Support Development of tourism development plans for LGs
3. Supporting scaling up tourism infrastructure in SWR
